Lantern features paneling in the traditional Shou Sugi Ban style crafted from Forest Free Pine lumber. The heavily charred surface of the board makes the wood fire retardant, less susceptible to insects and resistant to the elements. The process results in blackening of the wood that reveals clean, distinct lines and an inherent textural beauty.
